Rigorous preconstruction planning is the key to safety on our projects. Every project is required to have a EH&S area manager conduct a preconstruction meeting to identify required training. Our project teams conduct a project hazard assessment which identifies normal and extraordinary risk at each stage of the construction process. They meld this information with OSHA standards, consensus standards, client requirements, and our EH&S Loss Prevention Program requirements to develop a targeted project safety plan. We communicate this plan to the trade contractors as the basis of their individual safety plans.
