Towson University Science Complex

The Towson University Science Complex will be a six-story STEM facility to support the university’s instruction in biology, physics and chemistry, and will be largest academic building on campus. The 316,000 SF building will include a rodent vivarium, teaching laboratories, research laboratories, eight lecture halls, classrooms, a planetarium, a rooftop observatory and greenhouse, and a four-story atrium to serve as a collaborative space for students and faculty. The facility will also feature a rain garden for stormwater control, nine controlled environmental rooms, three modular ISO7 cleanrooms and over 160 fume hoods.

This project will pursue LEED® Gold certification.
