JetBlue Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Terminal and Baggage Upgrades

This project involved a 45,000 SF, two-story structure to support the Transportation Security Administration, including a new checked baggage inspection system and baggage handling system on the first floor. The project required phased demolition/construction in an active terminal, while maintaining existing airline and terminal operations. There was also a multi-phase modernization of Terminal 3, including new restrooms, office space, a 16,500 SF crew lounge and alternations to the ticketing lobby. Additional improvements for the airport included a ticket office relocation for five airlines, 10,000 SF of new lobby space, reconfiguration of baggage conveyor systems, new 82-foot walkway bridge and a passenger boarding bridge, as well as a relocated holding room and gate apron.
