
Cleveland Clinic - Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Pavilion
Construction of one million GSF, 10-story cardiovascular hospital, including 278-bed patient rooms, 76 CVICU beds, 34 CCU beds, 16 operating rooms and 21 patient, public or service elevators. The building has a caisson foundation, concrete and steel frame, exterior veneer of glass and stone curtainwall, and metal siding. Also included are:
Two MRIs, two PETs, one Cyclotron and, one CT and MFI area (gamma cameras)
Diagnostic and treatment suites and 10 cardiac cath suites
Physician and administrative offices and retail spaces
Pneumatic tube system
This project received a 2009 Citation by Healthcare Design, as well as a 2009 Citation by Modern Healthcare.
