Mercy Medical Center - The Mary Catherine Bunting Center

Construction of a 680,000 SF, 19-story replacement nursing tower including two bridges and a two-level tunnel connecting to the existing hospital and parking garage. Phase I included 15 ORs, one Angio OR, 32 ICU beds, 158 medical/surgery patient beds, 45 surgery prep/recovery rooms, central sterile, kitchen and food servery, 15 elevators and three green roofs. This project received the following awards:
• First Place Green Development Award by the Baltimore Business Journal
• Best Practices in Minority Business Participation Award by the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland
• Project Achievement Award by the Construction Management Association of America
