The Johns Hopkins University Undergraduate Teaching Laboratory Addition to Mudd/Levi Hall

The existing Mudd Hall, Levi Building and Biology East complex at The Johns Hopkins University is now complete with the new 105,000 SF Teaching Laboratory Addition.

The lower three floors house undergraduate teaching laboratories for biology, chemistry, neuroscience and biophysics. The upper floor accommodates biology department research, consisting of an open laboratory, laboratory support and procedure space, meeting and seminar rooms, and faculty offices.

The northern façade of the new facility is entirely glazed to maximize views of the wooded hillside and to allow ample daylight to enter the laboratories. This project is pursuing LEED® Silver certification.
