Consolidated Forensic Laboratory
The Consolidated Forensic Laboratory in Washington, DC will house the Metropolitan Police Department, Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, and the Department of Health public health lab. This 351,000 GSF (287,000 NSF) consolidated state-of-the-art facility is completely unique in the United States. In addition to the six levels above grade, there will be two levels below grade to serve as a 150-space parking area. The project will be seeking LEED® Gold certification with features such as a green roof, chilled beams, high efficiency equipment, and energy/water recovery systems.
