The project schedule was extremely tight due to numerous unforeseen conditions. To make up for lost time, steel erection was performed in two shifts and riser framing was worked on during extended shifts. The project was completed two weeks ahead of schedule and under budget of the original GMAX. Cinemark told Whiting-Turner that the project was one of the smoothest run and best coordinated. The project is a 65,000 SF 16-screen theater located on top of an active mall and loading dock with a 50% overbuild and tie-in to the existing facilities.
