Dumbarton Oaks

Dumbarton Oaks was a six-phase project involving preconstruction and construction services for the restoration of the Refectory (4,860 SF), Gardener’s Cottage (5,430 SF), historic Greenhouse, Fellows Building (8,550 SF), and Main House (69,590 SF). The project also included the construction of a state-of-the-art library, central utility plant, and an underground mechanical and electrical tunnel system connecting all the buildings. Built in the early 1930s, exterior elements such as the lead-coated copper gutter systems, windows, and slate roofs, required extensive restoration.
