325,000 SF, 8-story medical research building containing 150 faculty offices, 150 laboratory modules and a 140-seat auditorium. The building houses several science departments as well as the interdisciplinary research programs. Below-grade levels contain 60,000 SF devoted to animal resources and all six levels above-grade connect to an adjacent building. The building is recognized as LEED® Silver by the US Green Building Council and has received numerous awards for its environmental responsibility.
