Cedar Crest Expansion
The comprehensive site-wide expansion and upgrade of Lehigh Valley Hospital’s main hospital campus, consisting of several individual projects constructed in a phased and coordinated approach, includes:

• A seven-story 342,000 SF patient care building with 182 new patient beds (all private rooms) and supporting services including 44 ICU beds and an 18-bed Regional Burn Center (This project received LEED^® certification.)
• A four-story 133,000 SF medical office building (This project received LEED^® Silver certification.)
• A 200 ft enclosed pedestrian bridge crossing the main road to link the medical office building to the existing hospital
• Five-level, 890-space, precast parking deck
• Two, two-level 500-space parking decks.
• A 96,000 SF interior renovations and rearrangements
• New loading dock facility
• Second-floor addition to a central utility building for offices and expanded utility space
