The News & Advance Renovation and Addition project was completed in four phases. Phase 1 was the construction of a new two-story 46,000 SF facility with a mezzanine level adjoining the existing printing press building. The outer shell of the new facility was covered by a combination of face brick, metal panels, and translucent wall panels. The roofing system was constructed of standing seam metal with metal fascia trim. Phases 2 through 4 were the renovation and connection of the existing facility to the new printing press facility. The interior finishes for this portion of the renovation included drywall, ACT, and painting.
