The project consisted of two buildings: the Tucker Arts Center and the Athletic Facility. The Tucker Arts Center was 42,000 SF of new construction and a 6,000 SF renovation of existing classrooms. The new construction added a façade/main entry to the school and included technologically state-of-the-art theatre & classrooms, dance rooms, costume & scenery shops, and academic offices. The 576-seat theatre includes various A/V lighting & video systems and has extensive high-end millwork panels and running trim throughout the space.
The Athletic Facility included 25,000 SF of new construction and 5,000 SF renovation of existing locker/training rooms. The new construction included a gymnasium and weight room. The gymnasium has three full-size basketball courts, multiple tennis and volleyball systems, wrestling mat lifters, and an operable panel wall. The gym floor is a Taraflex PVC/foam product. The weight room has a rubber floor and includes top-of-the-line weight training equipment.
