This project consisted of a restoration/renovation of a 1927 classroom building. Work included the demolition of interior spaces while maintaining historical features, structural retrofit of the building and bell tower, new interior finishes, lead paint abatement, and blending of new elements to historical elements. Existing wood windows were removed and renovated. Where required, new windows were installed to match existing ones. Existing precast architectural features were repaired, replaced, and anchored to maintain the structural integrity the building. The roof was replaced and the building’s exterior was restored to its original appearance.
