Porter Road Elementary School
Construction of a 73,000 SF, two-story steel frame structure consisting of three teaching wings, all interconnected by means of a central corridor. The school is comprised of:
- Main office/administration area
- Library with adjacent computer lab
- Art room with adjacent ceramic kiln room
- Music room, full kitchen area, multipurpose cafeteria/gymnasium space with a stage
- Supporting mechanical/electrical rooms
- 33 teaching classrooms and staff support spaces
The exterior of the building is clad with modular type brick and pastel colored corrugated metal panels. Two exterior playground areas have been planned for future installation.
