The project consisted of the new construction and associated sitework for a 92,100 SF performing arts facility with multiple venues. The facility includeed a proscenium theater, recital hall, orchestra hall, and rehearsal rooms. The building utilizes masonry, concrete, and steel as structural components with a primarily brick exterior. Since this facility is being used mainly for performance art, acoustical integrity was a primary focus. Whiting-Turner executed diligent quality control for the building’s four main performance halls and achieved superior acoustical results.
