Bancroft Hall
The historic renovation of Bancroft Hall was accomplished in nine phases. It included the ceremonial center section, viewed as the Navy’s most revered space, and the midshipmen residences, galley and store. Included in the work was the installation of state-of-the-art HVAC, sprinkler, fire alarm, and audio/visual systems. Roof replacement and associated structural steel repair/modification was successfully achieved over the ornate, historic plaster ceilings. A significant amount of restorative cleaning and polishing was also accomplished.
