Parking Structure
The Science Hill Parking Structure project encompassed the new construction of a 119,000 SF, 347-space, precast parking garage. The precast concrete superstructure consists of double tees, columns, beams, K-walls, column walls, wall panels, stairs, and decking. Lighting, and a security system consisting of cameras and scream alarms, was placed throughout the two stair wells. A three stop hydraulic elevator was installed in the tower pavilion that was constructed of cast-in-place concrete. The upper floor consists of structural steel wrapped in aluminum and in filled with glazing.
