Teaching Green Construction | Baltimore, Maryland

Two Whiting-Turner team members presented to students at Green Street Academy, a charter school in Northwest Baltimore, Maryland as part of Whiting-Turner’s participation in the Maryland Chamber of Commerce’s Teacher Externship Program. They discussed sustainable construction projects and concepts with students in grades 6 through 11. After the presentation, students interacted with hands-on climate education kits that showed how green infrastructure can help communities prepare for a changing climate.
