Loyola Blakefield St. Ignatius Hall

Loyola Blakefield St. Ignatius Hall

Loyola Blakefield’s new, 46,360 SF St. Ignatius Hall is under construction. The two-story middle school, adjacent to Wheeler Hall, will house 10 classrooms, two science labs, a cyber lab, an art studio and a learning commons. The learning commons will be a collaborative space for all grade levels of Loyola Blakefield students. The lower level includes a maker space for students and a new acoustically tuned space for the school’s band and instrument practice space. The exterior of the Hall matches the character of the other prominent buildings on the school’s campus with a façade that includes butler stone with cast stone details and slate roofing. The school’s first vegetated roof will be installed above the learning commons.
