UConn Gant Building Renovations – STEM

The 285,000 SF Gant Science Complex is undergoing extensive renovations to accommodate the growth of the STEM programs at the University of Connecticut. Improvements consist of a completely new infrastructure, upgrades to classrooms, lecture halls, research laboratories, faculty offices, mechanical/electrical space and additional support areas. The project also includes reconstruction of the façade and roof, as well as a feature light court that provides ample natural lighting and creates an attractive, energy-efficient building exterior. Construction has been carefully phased to accommodate building occupants as the project progresses.
