KIPP Destiny Campus

About

THIS PROJECT

The KIPP Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) Destiny Campus is an adaptive reuse project that involved the conversion of a vacant 75,900 SF, single-story Mervyn’s Department Store to a K-5 charter school in Dallas, Texas. The project required complete interior demolition and selective demolition of building façade and site. The interior improvements included classrooms, administrative areas and staff offices, a servery with cafetorium and multi-purpose rooms. The project also included upgrades to the MEP and fire protection systems, and new security and data systems.
