About

THIS PROJECT

Whiting-Turner has consistently performed renovations of Yale University’s science + technology spaces since 1995. During that time, we have performed over 300 projects that vary from 100 to 120,000 SF in occupied facilities, and we have renovated over 1 million SF of science + technology space. We have upgraded, renovated and created vivaria with over 10 varied species of study.

Our renovations have ranged in complexity, including projects such as:

  • Science classrooms
  • MRI upgrade
  • MEP upgrades
  • Vivarium conversions
  • Cleanroom installation
  • Research laboratories
  • Biosafety Level 3 (BSL-3) laboratory

In addition to renovations, Whiting-Turner has also constructed two of Yale’s ground-up, flagship research buildings – The Anlyan Center and The Malone Engineering Center. When combined with our renovation work, this is over 1.7 million SF.
