THIS PROJECT

A transformative addition to the Yale University campus and a hub for interdisciplinary collaboration, The Tsai CITY Center for Innovative Thinking is a two-story, 11,200 SF standalone building dedicated to innovative programming and problem-solving. Complementing the Becton Engineering and Applied Science Center, this center consists of open office space with workstations/makerspaces, meeting rooms and conference rooms, and is centrally located in the Becton Plaza area.

The project required the installation of:

  • A curved class curtainwall system
  • Interior glass systems
  • Circular skylight
  • Walkable glass flooring
  • MEP
  • Millwork
  • Acoustical plaster

New landscaping, exterior improvements and sewer/utility work were provided as well. This project intends to submit for LEED® Gold certification.
