THIS PROJECT
The JACK Thistledown Racino Renovation consisted of improvements to three levels of the existing facility, totaling over 120,000 SF, as well as upgrades to the exterior of the facility. The project also included all new electrical and low-voltage infrastructure backed up by a temporary generator and switchgear/transfer switch trailers.
The second-level renovation included:
- Slot performance workshop
- Diamond lounge
- Gaming space for video lottery terminals
- Three new food outlets
- Two bars
- Four newly-renovated restrooms

The third-level and fourth-level renovations included:
- 3,380 SF security rooms
- Office improvements
- 800 SF of kitchen/bar space
- Restroom paint and fixtures
- New power/data support system infrastructure for 60-inch flat screen TVs
The project also included significant exterior improvements, consisting of:
- Restriping 1,500 parking spaces
- Outdoor patio including a bar, video lottery terminals and seating
- Valet canopy
- Traffic signal updates and landscaping
