THIS PROJECT

The Francis X. and Nancy Hursey Center for Advanced Engineering and Health Professions is a 60,000 SF academic building on the University of Hartford campus. The building houses the College of Engineering, Technology and Architecture, along with the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions. Its exterior façade is made from a porcelain rainscreen system, curtainwall and metal panels. An intensive green roof blends the building with the environment around it. The center offers an outpatient exam and bedside skills suite, immersive simulation suite and a makerspace for students. Featured laboratories include:
