This was a ground up project of a brand new school located in Balch Spring, Texas. KIPP Pleasant Grove Leadership Academy consisted of three facilities on the 20-acre campus: two academic buildings and a gymnasium. The academic facilities are two-story, pre-engineered metal buildings that feature classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeteria and a kitchen.

The 15,000 SF tilt-wall gymnasium includes a steel-framed roof, ICC 500 storm shelters, locker room and showers. An exterior basketball court, football field with bleachers and a 371-space parking lot were also built. Site development included utility infrastructure, drainage and management of an adjacent, on-site 100-500-year floodplain.
