Modular Data Center Preparation

THIS PROJECT
This project required over three acres of site preparation for a modular data center. Preparation for the installation included:
- Fiber ductbanks and fiber cabling
- Electric infrastructure, including two 13.5kv switchgear and two 480v substations
- Security system with motion activated cameras and vibration sensing fence cabling
- Underground utilities
- Equipment pads
- Paving and landscaping
- Large-diameter stormwater management piping and structures
Whiting-Turner worked closely with the data center provider to successfully coordinate delivery, installation and commissioning.
