The T. Rowe Price Remote Support Center involved fast-tracked construction of a 60,000 SF disaster recovery center on a 14-acre site. Security features include perimeter fencing, controlled access and vehicle control. The data center includes:

The exterior mechanical/electrical central plant at the rear of the building includes chillers, dry coolers, emergency generators and primary switchgear with the capability for expansion. The mechanical/electrical infrastructure is capable of supporting day one density of 75 watts per SF, Tier 2 design. The facility also includes complex fire protection systems including wet pipe, preaction, FM-200 and VESDA, and a detailed 12-inch chilled water system with computer room air conditioning units and remote terminal units.
