This biopharmaceutical project renovated a 130,000 SF empty warehouse into laboratories to aid the client in developing highly-selective medicines for patients with cancer. The renovation featured:

The project also updated the lobby to include a wooden polydimensional feature that imitates mountains, installed new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, and including an energy-efficient air handling system with a Konvekta energy recovery loop. Whiting-Turner utilized VDC coordination and clash detection throughout to assist with the overhead system layout. The project team collaborated extensively with the client to accommodate the fast paced schedule and supply chain challenges brought upon by the global pandemic.
