As a multi-functional facility, the building known as “The Hill” accommodates academic and event spaces on Georgia Southern University’s campus. It includes 8,000 SF of space for the Waters College of Health Professions, with the remaining space for the university’s basketball arena. The arena has fixed seats for game day events, which is a 25% increase over the previous fieldhouse capacity, and can accommodate 5,900 attendees for convocation events. Several new spaces include:

The roof was designed to appear as an eagle’s outstretched wings in flight, which is the school’s mascot. The basketball arena includes designated areas for future expansion, such as premium seating, suites and club spaces.
