Guadalupe Hall

About

THIS PROJECT

Guadalupe Hall is the newest residence hall on the University of Texas at San Antonio’s campus. Totaling 110,000 SF, the facility is dedicated to housing incoming freshmen students, as well as several living-learning communities like the Honors Residential Community. Housing approximately 372 students, the four-story building includes:

  • 180 double-occupancy rooms
  • 12 single rooms
  • Large and small lounges
  • Collaborative study space
  • A multipurpose room
  • Community kitchens
  • A coffee shop/café

Guadalupe Hall was purposely designed to encourage student collaboration and success, with an academic lounge on each floor. Each wing of the hall includes two groups of 16-17 students sharing a bathroom. The bathrooms consist of one fully private restroom with a shower, sink and toilet, and one communal restroom with three private showers, three private toilet stalls and three sinks. Each restroom area is locked and only available to the residents in the designated group.
