THIS PROJECT

Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel was a fast-track, design-build casino and hospitality project owned by Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians and operated by Caesars Entertainment. Located in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, the project required the development of a new mountaintop, 100-acre site into a 150,000 SF, single-story casino and seven-story, 300-room hotel. The project also includes outdoor parking for 1,600 cars. The casino and hotel feature:

  • 55,000 SF of gaming space
  • 1,400 slot machines
  • 200 table games
  • Food market
  • Multiple restaurants
  • Back-of-house support areas
