THIS PROJECT

The 94,000 SF Ronald McDonald House of Baltimore, located in the Historic Jonestown neighborhood, supports the growing need for physical and emotional refuge for families whose children are being treated at six of the facility’s surrounding hospitals. The new house provides shelter for over 55 families daily, and more than 2,000 annually. The building includes:

  • Three levels of guest rooms that sleep up to five people each
  • Suites designed for oncology and transplant patients
  • Three levels of office/common space
  • Business center
  • Serenity room
  • Fitness room
  • Teen room
  • Two levels of below-grade parking

There is also an outdoor playground with a picnic area, as well as a rooftop garden on the sixth floor to provide guests with unique views of Baltimore.
