THIS PROJECT
Located in Baltimore, Maryland, the Under Armour Global Headquarters provides a hub for corporate innovation. The building contains 280,000 SF of high-end office space, equipped with audio-visual technology and designed to promote collaboration. It comprises glass walls engineered to reduce solar heat and features curtainwall sunshades, stormwater management ponds and a solar canopy above the parking area. Additionally, the headquarters include:
- 24,000 SF retail space
- Grab-and-go dining service
- Starbucks
- Fitness center
- Outdoor basketball court
- Two terraces

FACILITY
The campus is centered around a wood infill turf field and a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) regulation track with rising bleachers that seat up to 1,400 people. The stadium is primarily used for research, development, sports marketing and community sporting events. The field is equipped with technology that can track and measure athletes’ performance in real time, supporting research and product development.
Sustainable
FEATURES
A core value to the Under Armour campus is sustainability. This project is LEED Platinum® and is pursuing net zero energy and the WELL Building Standard. The building was constructed almost entirely of glulam beams and columns alongside cross-laminated timber panels and floors imported from Austria. Mass timber was chosen for its lower carbon impact as a renewable material. Additional sustainability features on the campus consist of:

- Rainwater harvesting
- Geothermal heating and cooling
- Solar panels
- Curtainwall sunshades
- Premium HVAC system with energy recovery
